The work explores auto fiction in themes of grief, violence, romance and queerness.
It can be seen as a portrait of a layer inside one's psyche, where painful emotions stay and linger.
It invites the viewer to create their own narrative between the images, tinted by personal remembrance, fears and dreams, and in this way create an experience both subjective and objective.
Overall 'it's okay to cry' attempts to make us stop for a second, and face our emotions, even if they hurt.
